5 Sustainability At RAVAK, as a trusted manufacturer of bathroom equipment, we are constantly seeking ways to reduce the environmental impact of our production facilities. Sustainability is becoming a core part of our long-term focus. Our goal is to create high-quality solutions that respect both our customers and the planet. Solar energy production: We operate a large solar technology plant to generate our own electricity. Heat recovery: We efficiently recuperate residual heat from our production processes. Recycled packaging: All our packaging is made from 100% recycled cardboard. Certified wood suppliers: We work exclusively with suppliers holding FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification. Sustainable forest management: We require PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) compliance at both local and global levels. Local partnerships: We collaborate only with local vendors to minimize the environmental impact of transportation.
6 Art directors Our inspirational bathrooms are created by Czech and foreign designers, who reflect their rich experience from designing interiors and original ideas on how to transform everyday objects into beautiful timeless aids for a comfortable life. Since the creation of genuine and intricate designs is essential for us, in 2022 one of the most famous Czech designers of today, vrtiška&žák, took over the artistic leadership of our brand. For more than fifteen years they have been running a joint studio, working on commissions for well-known European companies and actively participating in the education of young talents as the heads of the Furniture and Interior Design Department at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague.
7 Awards Because design and the desire to cultivate the environment through design is at the centre of our efforts, we are inspired by the principles of good design as defined by Dieter Rams. We produce products that our customers find useful, comprehensible and innovative in their field, and whose design is timeless. Our original and innovative designs have received international recognition and awards such as the Red Dot, iF Design Award and Good Design. We operate five offices in Central and Eastern Europe and export to more than fifty countries worldwide.
